RONALDO HITS A STUNNER BUT MANCHESTER UNITED COMES BACK LATE

Juventus hosted Manchester United in their UEFA Champions League group H battle.Jose Mourinho's boys were really looked better as the season progress and at Allianz Arena they were up with their task.

The game tactically well played by both the managers and it was looking like the game was going nowhere. But the all time leading Champions League goal scorer Cristiano Roanldo had different ideas.

On minute 65 Bonucci played a ball over the top from near the halfway line, and Ronaldo peeled off his marker and smashed it beyond David de Gea on the volly. An outstanding strike.

The game was going one way with that lead of Juventus but on the 86th Minute United got a free kick just outside the penalty box of Juventus. Dead ball specialist Juan Mata's wonderful effort did't went in vain and he gave a life line to Manchester United.

Manchester United who was capable of making comebacks regularly under Sir Alex Ferguson's management. Beating Juventus on their home turf is some ask when you are a goal behind after 86 minutes.

On minute 90 United got a chance to put the ball in box from a Ashely Young free kick.
Fellaini did not make contact with Ashley Young's delivery, but his presence alone was enough to cause panic in the Juventus box. The 30-year-old occupied three defenders, including Giorgio Chiellini, and his jump ensured Szczesny was unsighted, allowing a combination of Paul Pogba and Chris Smalling to help force the ball over the line via Leonardo Bonucci. And juventus gave away a own goal.

Casemiro doubled the lead three minutes later when the Brazilian outjumped his marker and headed home from a corner.

An unmarked Benzema notched his second goal in the 37th minute with a redirected header assisted by Gareth Bale to give Real a 3-0 lead and Benzema returned the favour minutes later when he flicked on a cross for Bale to sweep home a volley.
Toni Kroos completed the scoring in the 67th minute when he cooly chipped over the keeper after a counter-attack involving Brazilian substitute Vinicius on his Champions League debut.

INSIGNE PENATLY SENDS NAPOLI TO THE TOP OF GROUP C

Napoli and PSG shares one point each in a finely contested draw in a UEFA Champions League group stage draw. With Liverpool loosing their game these two sides will be happy with one points.

Juan Bernat gave PSG a deserved lead in first-half stoppage time before Lorenzo Insigne levelled from a penalty in the 62nd minute after Jose Callejon pounced on a mistake by PSG defender Thiago Silva and was upended in the area.

The game continued to be wide open and niggly but neither side could find a winner.

RED STAR BELGRADE 2-0 LIVERPOOL
(GROUP C)

GOAL SCORER: MILAN PAVKOV (RED STAR ) 22nd Min, 29th Min

RED STAR SHOCK THE WORLD AS THEY BEAT LIVERPOOL 2-0

Liverpool gets shocked by the unknown Red Star's performance in their own land. Liverpool still stays on top two of their UEFA Champions League group table. They made life harder for themselves.

Milan Pavkov hits a brace and that was enough to sink the ordinary Liverpool side.

Jurgen Klopp's verdict:

We were not surprised. If you saw the first game, it was similar – it was wild, direct, stuff like that. In Liverpool we controlled the game and tonight we didn’t. They were aggressive, very aggressive, in all parts – but they were aggressive in the last game as well, we only did better. We made life a bit too easy tonight for Belgrade, that’s the main problem. As I said, they deserved it with the passion they fought [with]. In the end you have to score goals in a game and if you think about how often we were in the box and around, that’s what you have to do in a game but you have to make the last decision in the right way and we didn’t. That’s why we lost 2-0."
