But Luka Modric set to break the domination on this December as he won the FIFA best player award this term and he is the favourite to take the Ballon dOr also.If that happens that will be biggest change that modern football will see.
Luka Modric helped the Croatian team to reach the finals and he won the Champions League with Real Madrid. In both those occasions he played very important roles and after domination of the solo prizes this year in football he is the the favourite to swoop the Ballon dOr also.

When asked which club he considers to be favourites for the Champions League this season, the PSG ‘keeper gave a resounding answer.
"Champions League favorites? You have to say Barcelona because they have the best player in the world,” Buffon said. |

Well, Buffon has applied the same logic and believes his former club Juventus could challenge Barca.
“Then Juventus who signed the other player who is considered the best,” Buffon added. |
