.
At the minute 16 a brilliant through ball from Rashford opened the Spain defense which was calmly finished by Raheem Sterling who scored for the England national team after almost 3 years. It was completely against the run of play .
After the first 15 minutes of the first half Spain's football was really poor and their intent on the pitch was not really clear as Harry Kane produced a beautiful through ball to Marcus Rashford for the second goal who was set through and he didn't make any mistake.
If that was not enough for Spain, Raheem Sterling got his second in the 38 minute mark to add more embarrassment in front of their home fans.
This is the first time ever that Spain conceded 3 goals in any competitive matches in their history.
3-0 in the first half ? Not even the greatest fan of England would have predicted that.
As the second half started it was all Spain.
Pickford's performance was very ordinary as it was his mistake that gave a corner to Spain in the 57 th minute which led to the first Spain goal.
Paco Alcacer who is going through a very good form did scored with his very first touch. It was his unstoppable header which made this match very interesting.
Spain were really playing with some promise through out the whole second half and had their chances .
They can feel really unlucky when Pickford pulled Rodrygo in the box and the penalty was not given. That was one of the most pivotal moments of the match .
But Spain fought really well in the second half and Sergio Ramos headed the ball home in the very last play of the match.
This is the league table and how it looks:-
UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE
Spain 2 - 3 England
It was a thrilling example of classic international football at the Estadio Benito VillamarÃn as Raheem Sterling double helps England to beat Spain and they are staying alive in their UEFA NATIONS LEAGUE's pool.
Analysis:-

What's next?
All though England might have got 3 points but their survival is still depending on their result against Croatia. They still have to beat Croatia to go through.
