DECO MAKES A HUGE CLAIM THAT SELLING RONALDO IS THE REASON OF MADRID'S STRUGGLE
WHAT IS THE STORY?
Ex Portugal and Barcelona midfielder Deco claims Real Madrid are struggling and it is because Cristiano Ronaldo was sold to Juventus.
Real Madrid are currently sitting on the sixth position on the La Liga standings after 11 matches and already sacked their manager Lopetegui.
The 41-year-old insists Real Madrid were always going to struggle without their talisman.
A player as influential as Ronaldo is always going to be missed.
Ronaldo joined Madrid from Manchester United in 2009, for a then world record fee of £80m, and went on to spend nine years in the Spanish capital.
Deco considers Ronaldo to be the greatest player to have ever worn the all white kit and isn’t surprised Madrid are struggling to adjust to life without the five-time Ballon d'Or winner.

“I do not discuss whether they [Real] are playing well or badly, but did people really think they would be the same without Cristiano?” Deco said.“He is the best player in the history of Madrid and it is normal that the team suffers.”
Deco, who made this comment while talking to Spanish media Sport.
Deco is one of those luckiest players who have experienced of playing with both Messi and Ronaldo.
When asked if Barcelona would be in the same situation if Lionel Messi left the club, the former Catalan giants legend was unsure.

"I do not know, but there is a difference,Cristiano's was quite sudden, it was not completely natural,” Deco said.
“It did not end little by little and that's why the club was not prepared.”
CONCLUSION:
Real Madrid form is been poor from the start of the season. After Ronaldo's departure Real Madrid are really finding hard to get a goal scorer and anyone who can make the difference.
In this season Real Madrid broke their record of longest non goal scoring run in their history.
On the other side Ronaldo is having really good time in Italy.
Juventus are unbeaten in their first 11 league games in which Ronaldo has scored 7 times and assisted on 5 occasions.
He also recently became the first player in history to reach 400 professional goals playing within in Europe’s top five leagues.
